Testing & Commissioning

It is proposed to have a Commissioning Manager on board from early stages of the project for close co-ordination during each stage on installation. This will facilitate and expedite the commissioning works at final stages.

  • Pre-commissioning works are planned to be carried out using temporary power along with the installation. After obtaining the permanent utility connections, the switchgears are tested and commissioned followed by the testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment. The HVAC equipment on air side and water side is balanced and commissioned along with BMS
  • The final DBs are tested and energised with lights and power outlets being operational. ELV panels are energised and the devices are tested and commissioned
  • The drainage lines will be balanced, and the sanitary ware commissioning will be followed by disinfection
  • After commissioning each system individually, an integrated commissioning along with cause and effect testing will be performed and upon successful results the MEP installations will be handed over.
Project Close-out
  • The submissions of project close-out documents, which will consist of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, training and spare parts for MEP scope of work, will commence in time to achieve the handing over of the project as dictated by the program of works. In parallel with the construction phases, we will put in place procedures for monitoring the progress of information production relating to the handover documentation to ensure it is available at handover.
  • The above method statement has been developed specifically to demonstrate our understanding of the project requirements and the detailed methodology required to carry out a project of this nature
  • It is not, however, all-encompassing and prior to the commencement of each stage or phase of the construction works specific method statements will be produced and agreed with all concerned stakeholders.
